L - love the look of Heist beers. Deep toasted orange and just looks creamy and thick as all hell. Like a late evening sunset. Pure haze.
S - candied pineapple syrup, if there is such a thing. Mango and white bread. Hint of juicy melon.
T - more creamy pineapple and a touch of vanilla creamsicle. The harsh booze clashes with the soft fluffy flavors for an interesting dichotomy. End result is a super focused candied melange of juicy fruit and malty sweetness with a lingering, numbing hop bitterness. Orange marmalade and all sorts of sugary goodness.
F - thick and meaty. Heist brews always feel like a meal in your mouth. Low carbonation, but T H I C C and creamy.
O - this would've been excellent as a DIPA. The "trip" makes it a bit on the sweet side which gives it a sweet mixed drink effect with the fruity juiciness. I enjoy it, but I can see how some might find it a bit much. I personally love the sweet creamsicle maltiness. Nice beer.
