Pours a hazy, orange with a big cap of white foam. The aroma is subtle but I'm getting some tropical fruit. The flavor has big notes of kiwi, mango, and some grapefruit zest. There is a slight bitterness in the finish. It's medium bodied and well carbed.
This is pretty solid offering.

Pours a murky, turbid orange with a finger and half of white head pouring out of a 6 day old crowler. Lovely head retention and lacing. Aroma is orange, mango, papaya, and honey with a hint of biscuit and earth malts. Flavor profile is splendid notes of tropical fruits and citrus, hitting notes of orange, mango, papaya, and melon. A dash of honey, layered of biscuit malts really round this out well. Mouth feel is a touch yeasty, and calcium-like. Not like to the level of chalk, but noticably grainy. Thickness lands just above the mid-way point on the scale. Overall, a great DIPA with lots of good qualities going on. The feel is a bit strange, but somewhat standard for the NE IPA style.
Served in a 12oz snifter from a 32oz crowler.

Opaque orange juice. No head.
Smell is spicy and dank with creme de OJ.
Taste is dank and spicy OJ with crackery malt via a full to medium body with a thick carbonation and chalky swallow.
It's really delicious, despite my reservations.

A: Pours an extremely murky medium to dark golden yellow in color with moderate amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising along the edges of the glass and moderate bright yellow + honey orange colored highlights. The beer has a finger tall dense sudsy foamy bright white head that slowly reduces to a small patch of thin film surrounded by a large patch of very thin film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate to significant amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate to strong aromas of tropical/mango, tropical/papaya, tropical/passionfruit, citrus/grapefruit zest, and floral hops over the to top of moderate aromas of cereal grain + biscuit malts with a moderate amount of honey-like sweetness.
T: Upfront there are slightly less than moderate flavors of cereal grain + biscuit malts with a moderate amount of honey-like sweetness. That is followed by moderate to strong flavors of tropical/mango, tropical/papaya, tropical/passionfruit, citrus/grapefruit zest, and floral hops which impart a minimal amount of bitterness leaving lingering fruity + floral hop flavors.
M: Medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Light hints of dryness in the finish.
O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and really pleasant hop flavors + aromas with minimal amounts of bitterness. Very enjoyable.
