16oz can courtesy of Dragginballs76. Canned on May 4, 2018 per the stamp on the bottom of the can, which also says
Poured into a Bombing Range tallboy glass, this was utterly insane looking, to the point where it would have drawn a crowd if being consumed in public. Almost blood red, with a massive pink head so big I had to halt pouring for about 5 minutes during that time, quite a bit of foam flowed up and out of the can. Certainly the most distinctive looking pour of beer I've had in a long time, perhaps ever, so, despite not really being the sort of look one normally wants out of their beer, and being messy as hell, I might add, I'm tossing this one a 5 for the experience.
Blackberry aroma, initially mildly sweet, but with an increasing tart aspect as well as it warms.
Fruity sweet, but not sugary sweet, with a pleasing tartness as it warms that makes things more well balanced but never quite seems to take charge.
A bit big of a body and thick mouthfeel for a light Berlinerweisse.
Enjoyable, but aside from it's crazy appearance not actually all that memorable besides being my first ever beer made with blackberries. Sometimes I make a blackberry glaze for porkchops. This might go well with that. Thanks for the opportunity to drink the most vivid looking beer ever, Mike!

Pours a thick, pulped-fruit, beet-looking purple-red color with a half finger of a similarly-colored head. Pulp sticks to the side of the glass with some messy purple lacing. There's a nice crown peaking out beneath that as well.
Sour aroma with fairly-strong berry behind.
Sour tasting and quite tart, just loaded with blackberry. There's a little toastiness, too, such that it never becomes too sweet. Just great tart berry and light sourness with a fairly dry finish.
Medium bodied-plus with some pulp and decent carbonation.
Pickin Series is an appropriate title for these. The definitely got the heaviest visible fruit of any beer I've had. Tastes very good. 5/4/18 canning date.
