A: Pours a very hazy medium to dark golden honey in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising along the edges of the glass and moderate apricot + peach + burnt orange + dark golden yellow colored highlights. The beer has a two finger tall dense sudsy foamy light beige head that slowly reduces to a medium sized patch of medium thick film covering a little more than 40% of the surface of the beer and a large patch of very thin film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate to significant amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate to strong aromas of juicy tropical/mango, tropical/papaya, tropical/pineapple, citrus/grapefruit, and citrus/tangerine hops as well as moderate aromas of pine/resin hops. Light to moderate aromas of biscuit + oat + wheat + honey malts with a light to moderate amount of honey-like sweetness.
T: Upfront there are light to moderate flavors of biscuit + oat + wheat + honey malts with a light to moderate amount of honey-like sweetness. That is followed by moderate to strong flavors of juicy tropical/mango, tropical/papaya, tropical/pineapple, citrus/grapefruit, and citrus/tangerine hops as well as moderate flavors of pine/resin hops which impart a hint of bitterness which fades away very quickly leaving lingering moderate tropical + citrus hops flavors.
M: Just shy of medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Moderate amounts of soft/fluffiness mid-body with a light amount of dryness in the finish.
O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and a pleasantly soft/fluffy mouthfeel. Very enjoyable with a wonderful combination of hops that produce delicious tropical + citrus hop flavors and aromas. Definitely worth grabbing and I hope they make this one again in the future.
