A: Pours a very lightly hazy medium golden honey in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising from the bottom of the glass and moderate bright yellow + medium golden yellow + burnt orange + amber + apricot colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall dense sudsy foamy light beige head that reduces to a large patch of medium thick film covering a little more than 75% of the surface of the beer surrounded by a large patch of slightly mottled very thin film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass. Significant amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate to strong aromas of citrus/grapefruit pith + tropical/mango + tropical/pineapple + pine hops over the top of moderate aromas of toasted + caramel + biscuit malts with light to moderate amounts of caramel sweetness.
T: Upfront there are moderate flavors of toasted + caramel + biscuit malts with light to moderate amounts of caramel sweetness. That is followed by moderate to strong flavors of citrus/grapefruit pith + tropical/mango + tropical/pineapple + pine hops which impart light to moderate amounts of lingering aggressive bitterness.
M: Medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Crisp initially with a moderate amount of dryness in the finish.
O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and a nice crisp dry aggressively bitter mouthfeel. Nice mostly classic West Coast IPA flavors and aromas. Could easily have a couple of these.
