Collaboration with More Brewing

Hazy double IPA, brewed with Sabro Cryo, Waimea, and Idaho 7 Cryo. Double dry-hopped with a combo of Strata, Azacca, and dab more of Sabro Cryo. Peach rings, ripe pineapple, and a bit of spice.

Canned on approximately 11/23/2021 (hard to read the date). Poured into a Spiegalau IPA glass. It pours a cloudy, honey-orange with a huge, fluffy, bright white, gelato-like cap and lacing. The nose is highly fruity with pineapple, orange/tangerine, ripe melon, vanilla, and cannabis. The taste opens with a blend of ripe, sweet tropical fruit and dank, earthy cannabis. I think the latter prevails. The influence of the Strata hops is strong. I'm also tasting earthy, black tea and pine from the Idaho 7 hops and perhaps some cedar from the Sabro. It's like two very different IPAs duking it out and I don't think it works very well. The mouth feel is fine: creamy with appropriate carbonation, and a solid 8% ABV. Overall, the hop bill on this ale is ambitious and I don't think it works very well especially for a brewery like Heist that makes some amazing NEIPAs.
