Mexican-style lager, light, crisp, and refreshing. Named after our owner's college buddy who passed away; we know he would've loved knocking a few of these back.

A: Pours a clear pale yellow in color with moderate to heavy amounts of active visible carbonation rising quickly from the bottom of the glass and faint pale golden yellow + straw yellow colored highlights. The beer has a two finger tall fizzy foamy bright white head that quickly reduces to a couple of small patches of thin film surrounded by a large patch of mottled very thin film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Light amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate aromas of bready + grainy malts with minimal amounts of grainy sweetness. Light to moderate aromas of lager yeast. Hints of grassy hops.
T: Upfront there are moderate flavors of bready + grainy malts with minimal amounts of grainy sweetness. That is followed by light to moderate flavors of lager yeast. Finally there are very light flavors of grassy hops which impart a light amount of bitterness which fades away leaving a clean finish.
M: Slightly heavier than light bodied with slightly heavier than moderate amounts of carbonation. Crisp with a clean finish.
O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and a very refreshing crisp + clean mouthfeel. Enjoyable and would easily pair with just about any food, well balanced (not sweet and not overly bitter).
