This experimental beer in collaboration with Salud Cerveceria is an exciting new take on what we consider a kettle sour style. In fact it’s not a “kettle” sour at all, it’s all done in the fermenter using a co-pitch of Nordic Kviek yeast and Lactobacillus Plantarm. Due to the similar fermentation ranges that each culture thrives in we figured let’s see what happens if we introduce them together! The result is a slightly tart and funky wheat ale paired perfectly with Pineapple and Passionfruit. Weighing in at 5% ABV, it’s the perfect beer to enjoy during these hot summer days! Enjoy!
