Very pleasant to drink. If I could find at a better price this would be a regular.

Poured into a Fremont small snifter. Pours a very dark mahogany brown, appearing opaque in the glass with a quarter finger khaki head that dissipates to a thick film with solid lacing. Aroma of dark toasted malt, vanilla, light cocoa and coconut. Flavor is dark toasted malt, vanilla, lactose, milk chocolate and a touch of coconut; chocolate and vanilla finish. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess; nice mouth feel. A full flavored porter with some milk stout character, probably from the vanilla. Nice chocolate balancing well with the vanilla. I'm not getting much coconut, although there is a trace in the taste, but little in the finish. The base porter stands on its own and actually doesn't need the extra flavor. Flavor density is quite good for the moderate ABV. Liked this a lot.

This is the best tasting chocolate Porter I’ve ever had. Plus, it doesn’t feel like an 8%beer.
