This traditional German style, the Munich Dunkel, has a wonderful caramel color with the body of a lager, and is layered with flavors of toasted breadcrumb and toffee to create a well-balanced beverage.

Light brown body with an off-white finger of foam. Lightly toasted caramel, nuts, brown bread yeast, and raisin in the nose. Taste is more toasty than the nose let on, straight up toast leads, caramel, whiter bread yeast, nuts and minor prune round out, but finish is a yeasty whimper compared to the front. Feel is bready and toasty, lighter and smooth, but short lasting on the palate

Picked up a 16 oz single from the Hot Spot gas station on Brevard Road on 2-15-25 for $2.49. No can date; consumed 4-6-25. Cold stored since purchase.
Beer poured light brown with a nice white head with the original pour.
Nose mild roasted malts and is coming across a touch nutty.
Taste is honey bread with nuts up front. Back end is not overtly hopped but it is balanced with a touch of sweetness appropriate for the style.
Mouthfeel is light bodied and pretty refreshing.
Overall, this is a pretty good style wise.
