This West Coast IPA gets a traditional hop treatment in the boil and whirlpool with Centennial and Cascade. It then gets dosed with Simcoe Cryo for the dry-hop. Piney, grapefruit, dank, with a mild pleasant lingering bitterness.

Unfortunately this one got lost in the beer fridge as it was acquired from the Appalachian Vintner 2-21-23 for $5.22. Canned 12-30-22; consumed 10-24-23.
Beer poured cleared golden with a nice white head.
Nose is nice, notes of citrus dominate.
Taste is classic WCIPA as the pale malt base is heavier than most of similar ABV and allows full display for classic cascade and centennial hops which brings in a nice grapefruit forward flavor with a touch of orange. Finishes with a nice rind and pine bitterness; 7/10 on my scale.
Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied and both smooth and refreshing.
Overall i could imagine this beer being really good fresh. Nice to have an old school IPA!
