A Heller Bock, meaning "Pale and Strong." A lager with roots from Einbeck, Germany. History says other Germans mispronounced Einbeck as Ein-bock (meaning billy goat) and the style Bock was officially named. The name is a play off the higher ABV and billy goat reference. Expect floral, citrusy aromas with notes of toast and sweet orange zest.

Poured from a 16 oz can into a Willi Becher glass
The beer pours a hazy straw color with a smallish foamy white head that recedes quite quickly and leaves behind virtually no lacing
The aroma is lightly bready and somewhat yeasty with just a hint of tartness. Not a whole lot going on here
Like the aroma, the flavor is light, and comprised mainly of bready malts and mild yeastiness. The tartness carries over to the flavor, but is almost imperceptible. I also get a bit of floral hops that I didn't notice in the aroma. Light bodied and moderately carbonated with a dry finish.
Overall the beer is pleasant and easy to drink, though I don't see myself seeking it out
