Trying to figure out an adjunct combination that works together can be as simple or as difficult as you want it to be. We thought long and hard about it, and figured out that we should just keep it simple and delicious. This blend of 28 month aged stouts were rested in a combination of Stagg Jr. and Old Forester barrels, then conditioned for almost 2 weeks on in-house toasted coconut and Ugandan vanilla beans. The barrels give us a nice warming quality with base notes of dark chocolate and baking spices. They are enhanced with welcoming flavors of vanilla frosting and coconut cake in this decadent treat.

Poured from a can at fridge temp. Pours a VERY thick black with minimal head. Very nice looking beer. The nose is full of vanilla and bourbon right out of the gate. I might even call this a vanilla bomb on the nose. Chocolate, molasses, and slight coconut follow. The taste incredible. Boozy bourbon, vanilla, raisins, plums, blackberries, chocolate truffle, maple, coconut, and a nutty note come through. The mouthfeel is insane - thick and creamy for days. Nice fruity and boozy aftertaste. Overall, a wonderful stout that I would definitely buy again.
