I loved this on tap at Grand Rapids Brewing today. Elderberry addition rounds out the tail end of the flavor of it and makes this Session IPA more than just hop water. Hops were assertive and citrusy. Menu said it has 40 IBUs and was brewed with polaris and hbc 291 hops; colored with "beetle juice" (cochineal according to the waitress) and elderberry. Reddish color, but no more so than I would expect from a red ale. With Cochineal, I would maybe expect it to be looking like a Framboise. Thankfully it wasn't that vivid or it might have turned me off. A solid collaboration between Perrin and GRBC.
