Served on tap in a tulip. Interesting purplish color, amber shot through with a dark blue. Wonderful, big aroma of sweet blueberries, biscuit malts, and maple glaze. Taste follows through on the promise of the nose, with sweet and tart blueberries on top of caramel, doughy biscuit malt, vanilla and maple. Smooth feel, not as heavy as it sounds. Well worth another round.

On tap at the brewery....
Interesting color.... Pours a blueish Amber with a touch of a frothy white head. Nose is full of blueberries and maple syrup. Taste is truly "as advertised." Big berry up front....followed by the maple, sweet biscuity malts, vanilla, and some breadiness. Sweet but not cloying. Feel is on the light side with medium carbs. If the body was any heavier, this may have come off as syrupy. Highly enjoyable and a great take on a breakfast beer.
