Clear gold, nice white head, good retention, nice lace
Smells like cacao nibs
Tastes like dark chocolate with cacao nibs and toasted nuts
Medium bodied and appropriately carbonated.
I didn't rate to style for appearance, but did for the rest. It's actually pretty decent for a porter, but does need the bit of bite from roasted malt

Pours straw gold. Smell is bready malt and light chocolate. Taste follows suit with an additional coffee flavor. Overall very tasty. Smooth and rich mouthfeel. Definitely seems to have the body and flavor of the darker beer it is emulating

Lots of taste and body for a 5% beer. Sweet , malty, with a hint of coffee.

Smells and tastes like a lighter blonde stout which it is but I don’t taste PB whatsoever

12 ounce can into pint glass, canned on 12/4/2018. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy medium golden/amber color with a 1 finger dense and rocky white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a light amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big milk/white chocolate, cocoa, coffee, honey, caramel, vanilla, cream, nuttiness, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, pepper, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of chocolate, coffee, bready malts, and light-moderate earthy hop notes; with great strength. Taste of big milk/white chocolate, cocoa, coffee, honey, caramel, vanilla, cream, nuttiness, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, pepper, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, herbal, floral, grassy, peppery hop; and roasted coffee bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of milk/white chocolate, cocoa, coffee, honey, caramel, vanilla, cream, nuttiness, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, pepper, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of chocolate, coffee, bready malts, and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/grainy, fairly sticky, and lightly chalky mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 5.8%. Overall this is an excellent white American porter! All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of chocolate, coffee, bready malts, and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the modestly bitter/drying finish. Great balance of rich malts/oats, chocolate, and coffee flavors; with nice earthy hop presence/balance against sweetness. A very enjoyable offering, and awesome style attempt. Tastes really close to a true American porter.
