Spending 9 months in bourbon barrels to be the definition of "decadence". Aged in Traverse City Whiskey Barrels another 12 months to be the definition of "perfection".

Served on tap at the brewery. poured pure black with a deep brown head, leaves an oily like coating on the glass.
The taste is a very nice blend of rich dark chocolate, mild coffee, and a definite whiskey edge.
The feel is soft and smooth; if it wasn't for the whiskey edge I think I could have sipped on this all evening.
OA, It's not one that would be a daily drinker but for an occasional treat, hard to think of what would be a better.
