The pour is unsurprisingly stout black with a light brown head that left no lacing but a light film covering the interior of the glass.
The taste is, for the base imperial porter, not as sweet as expected. The peanut butter is light, the chocolate is heavy, and the vanilla combines with the coconut to be a nice counter balance.
It is fascinating to me that they can take a beer which is normally pretty sweet and add ice cream flavors and make it less sweet.
The feel is just full enough to carry all the assorted flavors.
OA, I will admit I don’t order these in advance, but I might be changing that policy.
