Clear very dark brown but nearly black in the glass. Partially durable head with very good lacing properties.
Very appealing, moderately rich and fairly strong aroma with a hint of dark fruit, but ...
T: marred by overly aggressive roasting of the malts, leaving a bit too much burnt and smoke character for my taste. A load of coffee too.
O: should work well with ribs, grilled meats and the like.
