Cloudy pale yellow body with a huge, fizzy, white head, mostly diminishing with some lacing, though.
Moderate-to-heavy hoppy (citrus) aroma with heavy notes of tropical fruits.
Moderate bitter and light-to-moderate sweet flavour; long fruity finish.
Light-to-medium body with oily texture; average carbonation.

Cali Pale is not the best pairing with Indian food. But no lagers were on the menu. So I get this juicy pale ale. The pairing wasn't bad. The bitter hops were moderate enough. The ale's mango works well to calm the palate from the spicy food. Cali Pale also reminds me of a NEIPA; but I'll not rock the boat on styling... at least not on this one.
This is my second from them. I like Tiny Rebel's packaging. I like iconoclasts of Taste... as long as they don't get too different, too fast. And Tiny Rebel does that well also. Maybe as they grow, they can emphasise more than cool packaging, like sustainability.

330ml can. 5.6% ABV.
L: Hazy yellow with a thick, fluffy head.
S: Tropical fruit juice.
T: Yellow grapefruit & lemon pith.
F: Medium/light body, some carbonation, bitter finish
O: A pithy, dry APA. Pleasant change from the New England juice bombs currently in vogue. Good stuff.

330ml Can from Sainsbury's supermarket (£2.20):
Golden lemon & translucent with a frothy white head & lacing on the sides. The nose is mildly hoppy with some citrus, faint pine & touches of grapefruit; it's quite floral too. It tastes a little more subdued with pine, grapefruit & citrus as well as some hop oils with light mango & pineapple to finish. It's very floral & dry with a medium, smooth body that goes down well.

Draft at The Glassworks. Pale golden, small patchy head. Musty, citrusy nose. Taste brings a mixture of citrus and stone fruit. Sweet up front, tails off to a light bitter finish.
