Appearance: pours a light orange color with a 1" head.
Smell: very little aroma here as only a hint of fruit sweetness comes through to nose.
Taste: light caramel, golden apples, biscuit, and a soft bitterness are the main flavor components.
Mouthfeel: medium bodied. Crisp to start, less crisp at the finish. Relatively clean aftertaste here.
Overall: this is a true session beer. Easy to quaff and mild in flavor which is nice on those times you want a lighter beer on the tastebuds. A decent representation of the style.

First had: on tap at Vault
Poured a slightly hazy amber color with a small white head that sank to a ringlet; moderate lacing. Light aroma, biscuity malts, light fruit esters. Taste of pale biscuity malts, a bit cardboardy, toasted grains, honey, light essence of apple and peach, leafy hops. Light-medium body, soft carbonation. Not very flavorful, even considering the style is supposed to be milder in general, but it was still fairly drinkable overall.

On-tap at Vault Brewing in Yardley, PA...
A: Pours a nice translucent deep gold, with about a half finger of head. The foam settles quickly, and there is no lacing left on the glass as it drinks.
S: The nose is reminiscent of of adjunct lager, with a bit more bitterness from the hops. It's not the best smelling beer, but it's not horrible either. It smells of the style.
T: It get a mix of malt and bitters right up front, and then I get hit in the taste buds by old gym sock funk and that what can only be described as a "stale" taste. This beer is bad.
M: Light bodied beer.
O: Terrible. Seriously. I was only able to drink half of a pint before I had to give up.

Poured into a tulip pint. Cask.
Appearance
Brownish amber with 1 finger of head and good retention. Slightly hazy with low carbonation.
Nose
Biscuit, caramel and a light fruitiness.
Taste
Biscuits, caramel and lightly toasted bread. Has a light fruity character reminiscent of cantaloupe. Light touches of brown sugar, chocolate and honey.
Mouthfeel
Light-medium bodied, soft and smooth.
Overall
This was my second beer at Vault after the Sweet Potato Ale and this is another winner. Tasty, balanced and an all around solid ESB.
