500mL bottle from Hop City (Atlanta, GA). 12.99. 2017 release. Served in an oversized Bruery snifter. Enjoyed 2/28/18.

Pours a furry light peach with a three quarter finger cap of white foam. The head settles nearly completely, leaving some sizeable surface wisps and a thin, uneven halo but no lacing.

Smells of sour stone fruit, pale grain, wine and earthy honey. There is a definite degree of wild yeast character in there.

The flavor blends sharply acidic citrus, apricot, soured pale grain, wine, honey, wet wood, earth and a slight tingle of alcohol. More earthy and less sweet than anticipated but still quite tasty.

The body is on the fuller side of medium with dull fuzzy carbonation. The distinctly wild aftertaste holds notes of nectarines, apricot, wine and wood.

Another delicious entry from Paradox. Alchemy Stones was different than expected but has many enjoyable layers that kept me satisfied with my purchase.
