Had this at Sour Sunday on February 11, 2018 at Triple Rock brewery. This is my first time having a Paradox beer despite seeing their skull and crossbones on shelves repeatedly. Cost has been prohibitive to try, so its nice to find this here.
Pours a yellow that is kinda bright, full 3/5" white head on it. Aroma is lemon sour, wet hay and dry wood.
Taste is more lemon sourness and that neutral wood. Good brett feel, good chewiness to it despite the lighter body and lower carbonation. I think its a success for my first try. It isn't complex or anything, rather simple and enjoyable when you aren't paying those $14/500ml prices. I can't recommend or see myself buying a bottle of it, but it was good enough that I will consider trying other beers from them. I really liked the bone dry mouth feel and finish to it. The sour level was probably a 6 or 7 on a 10 pt scale.
