500 ML, Bottled 10/23/17. Poured a burnished orange color into an Imperial pint glass with a 1/2 inch white head and continual visible carbonation, no lacing. Aromas of tropical fruit with slight hints of cinnamon funk. Sour to tart in flavor with the wine barrel adding some oakiness to the mix; works very well. Light to medium in body with a dry finish and very drinkable. Took a chance when I saw the age in the store but would have again, (if I could even find it), as it stood the test of time.

L: Poured from a bottle to a snifter glass. Had an orange color and a thick and cloudy consistency. There was a massive, foamy, very long-lasting head. Below average lacing.
S: A nice aroma of pineapples, cinnamon, a funky quality, a vinous quality, and some other light fruit.
T: Tasted of light malt notes (barely noticeable), a good shot of white wine (present throughout, lots of pineapple, some citrus (lemon, perhaps), a bit of cinnamon, and some yeasty, funky notes. An interesting flavor that's surprisingly vibrant and sweet. I was leery of the use of wine barrels, but it actually does work.
F: A highly carbonated beer with a smooth, dry finish. Medium-bodied.
O: One of the more interesting American Wild Ales I've tried recently. Drinkable.
