It's apparently established, this is a distinct brew from Skully Barrel No. 39. This one arrived three years later and should probably be considered a one and done. It came from a 500ml brown bottle poured into a clear glass liter mug, with much carbonation. Basically, it's orange, an opaque orange, but with some brilliance. There's a sourness to smell, but it's not specific. Despite its name, it doesn't smell like lemonade. There's no head, nor glass lacing, neither of which is expected within this style. It's a full tasting brew. Salty, but not overly so, but It's even less lemony, although it does have citrus attributes. Even someone who's not a chemist should be able to figure out that the salt, which is a base, should level out the citric acid of the lemons. It's not very sour, nor noticeably tart. The salt and peppercorns diminish that aspect. The mouthfeel is light, which would be refreshing were it not as salty. Maybe the infusion of salt, barrel aging and peppercorns confuse the taste buds, but the salt wins out in the end. As a wild sour, more lemon sour and less salt would work better.
