Thanks Steve.
This was poured into a pokal.
The appearance was a semi-cloudy burnt yellow color with some carbonation seen rising here and there. A slim white foamy fizzy head slid off immediately and didn't leave any lace.
The aroma was majestic as it combined a semi-sweet wheaty funk to a salty whiff and grassy hopped character flowing through some lemon tart tones. Grapefruit juice comes through with more warmth.
The flavor blended the salty wheaty character to grapefruit juicy and lemony tart qualities, all so very nicely. Mellow aftertaste initially but seems to change midway with a little bit of a wheaty kick but nice. Initial aftertaste seemed like sticky grapefruit.
The mouthfeel was almost medium bodied but was extremely sessionable! Good carbonation. Nothing distracting as everything seems to roll right on through over my tongue. Finishes semi-crisp with wheaty salty notes and grapefruit juicy pulp.
Overall, starting to realize these guys certainly know how to brew to style and still add in some awesome ingenuity!

Unlike Future Knowledge this beer has a more refined sourness and is much less puckering and easier on the palate. The 5% is a good plus as most Gose beers are around 4% and it coming in a pounder is also a plus. If anything it restores my faith in the brewery a bit since they can make a pretty tasty gose style beer.

Soft pale yellow body; very lively carbonation but with absolutely no head; very effervescent with spitting carbonation bubbles. Citrus fruit aroma; lime. Juicy and acidic flavors with a note of salt; white grapefruit and lime; tangy. Medium-light body; tart and dry.
This one is a mixed bag for me. The 'Look' got a slight boost in my rating if only for the novelty of carbonation spitting through the top of the beer, otherwise, no head would rate a max of 2.75 from me. The smell and and feel are okay, but it is the taste that somewhat saves this beer.

Got in a trade with beergoot. 16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 3/14/2019. Pours very hazy pale golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with poor retention, that reduces to nothing pretty quickly. No glass lacing and a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big sour/tart/tangy ruby red grapefruit, lemon, lime, orange, citrus peel/zest, peach, pear, apricot, melon, red/green apple, white grape/wine, oak, peppercorn, sea salt, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, and white bread; with lighter notes of leathery/musty/lacto funk, white wine vinegar, and yeast/oak earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of grapefruit, fruity/acidic/funky/spicy yeast, moderate oak, and pale/wheat malt notes; with big strength. Taste of big sour/tart/tangy ruby red grapefruit, lemon, lime, orange, citrus peel/zest, peach, pear, apricot, melon, red/green apple, white grape/wine, oak, peppercorn, sea salt, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, and white bread; with lighter notes of leathery/musty/lacto funk, white wine vinegar, and yeast/oak earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tartness, fruit tang, and Brett/oak tannin spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart/tangy ruby red grapefruit, lemon, lime, orange, citrus peel/zest, peach, pear, apricot, melon, red/green apple, white grape/wine, oak, peppercorn, sea salt, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, white bread, light leather/funk/vinegar, and yeast/oak earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of grapefruit, fruity/acidic/funky/spicy yeast, moderate oak, and pale/wheat malt flavors; with a great malt/tart/tangy/spiciness balance; with zero puckering/astringent flavors after the finish. Fairly crisp/clean finishing. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering tartness, tangy fruit, and carbonation. Medium-plus carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/grainy/acidic/tangy, and fairly saline/tannic balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5%. Overall this is an awesome fruited gose. All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of grapefruit, fruity/acidic/funky/spicy yeast, moderate oak, and pale/wheat malt flavors; very smooth, refreshing, and fairly crisp/clean to drink with the mellowly acidic/tangy/tannic/drying finish; not overly lactic/salty. Awesome balanced juicy/vibrant grapefruit and Brett/bacteria complexity; with nice oak foeder presence, and pale/wheat malts against acidity. Minimal residual sweetness with crisp drying. A really enjoyable offering, and impressive spot on style example.
