Poured into a tall tulip/stemmed lager glass (depending who you talk to).
The appearance was a ruddy burnt orange/malty copper color with a small white foamy head swiftly sliding off. Barely any lace.
The aroma started off with true to style gose qualities of salt, soured wheat, and tart fruity/lemon lactic acidic qualities. Subtle watermelon works its way in for a stellar balance.
The flavor meshes all of those prior mentioned aromas together - tart, sour and sweet features. Mild aftertaste of sweet authentic watermelon with a touch of salt and sour-ed wheat.
The mouthfeel felt really nice! I'd say about medium bodied with a decent sessionability about despite a slightly higher than normal ABV. Subtle stickiness but mostly pretty good. Finishes salty crisp with some watermelon sweetness, nothing in the way.
Overall, would love to bang again during warmer weather.
