16 ounce Prowler bought at Liquor Shed in Casper.
Pours black, small off white head of foam, wee bit of lacing.
Smells of roasted and chocolate malt, bitter and sweet, almost lactose like. More light bitter notes from some citrus, grapefruit most likely.
The taste has roasted malt, dark chocolate bitterness, some milk chocolate notes, hops come across to me as citrus but not as grapefruit, perhaps orange peel? Tough to say.
Light side of medium bodied, very light carbonation.
More roasty than hoppy example of the style but I dig it.
