On-draught for 7.50 NZD a pint at Sports Brewhouse, Oamaru, New Zealand.
A bit insipid. I get cheap 6-row/pale malt, and some faint minerality.
Overcarbonated.
Drinkable. Not a standout brew

Boundary Road is now owned by Independent Breweries NZ, an international brands marketing firm based in Auckland. Should this be corrected from BRB ?
The color of Wild Buck Looks like a nice ale; but it is amber, not brown. It also lacks foam and lace.
Smells give me not much to go on, but I'm getting mostly malt. Tastes are about the same with just enough hops for me.
And the mouth? All the bubbles conceals the thinness.
There are aspects of Wild Buck that make me think I'm drinking a hopped-up amber lager. But, a sweet brown ale ?
No. I vote for a new category... perhaps an EP Mild suits this best.... and ignore the sharp bubbles.

330ml bottle from Wanaka, NZ 4.0% ABV bb 22 Nov 2014 -- a "full-strength brown ale, delivering smooth malt flavours with the bitter finish of Nelson-grown hops."
Amber with excellent clarity; very good white head.
Feel: Light and very soft feel; medium-high carbonation. Overall, feels more like a good Belgian blonde than expected.
Aroma: light baked bread and lemony; hints of other citrus fruits and apricots.
Flavor: Slightly sweet; lemony white bread with a touch of spicy hops.
O: very easy drinking.
