APPEARANCE - 2FH that lasts, light, clear, foamy, lacing.
AROMA/SCENT - Malts, pine, sweet.
TASTE - Malts, sweet, nutty.
MOUTHFEEL/PALATE/TEXTURE - Decent carbonation, dry, smooth.
VALUE - $8.00 for a 12-oz. draft. Reasonable.
OVERALL/DRINKABILITY - A little boozy for me.

On tap at Side Door Grill, Madison. Not at all a dopplebock -- more a American Strong Ale, with a floral hop bitterness that more than tames the sweet grain.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
