this was my favorite beer here at solera, another easy drinking and clean saison, with quite a few unique features. its bright yellow in the glass, cloudy but not full of sediment or anything, and holding a nice airy white inch of foam on top. i reckon its fairly grain heavy, kind of sweet up front and with plenty of body, i am thinking there has to be some oats in here. there may also be one or two different barley malts as a base, quite the cereal medley going on on the ground floor of this one. the yeast is a little more lively than a few of the other saison types on the menu there, more orchard fruit to it, pear or white peach or something, its got a little spicy sip to it as well. floral like clover honey or something, some grassy earthy hops to balance it later on, and a great burst of carbonation on each sip to make it mighty refreshing. this is cool saison, i like the little bit of sweetness in here. what i really like is drinking it out back of the brewery on a beautiful early summer afternoon with some of the greatest views ive ever taken in. great beer in an amazing environment. tough to beat that...
