At first glance, I thought this was called "Falcon Crest", after the 80s primetime soap, but it's "Cloak", not "Crest", people. It's way better than that show was. Dark golden color, akin to the murk of micturating after a night of heavy stout drinking, a delicious flavor, very unusual, a little bitter, a little sweet, a killing Lorenzo Lamas-like flavor that just can't be beat. In keeping with my 80s tone, this is the kind of beer you'd love to have a few of before going over to Willie's house and clubbing A.L.F.

One of a flight of four. Had Falcon Cloak probably 50 miles from the brewer. So, fresh; but most distinct was its decent malt blending. Falcon Cloak does not lean on the hops and, instead, gets the different malts to make a liquid bread.
I went on Triplehorn's website and they seem dedicated to their craft. They have a few off-beat ales and a solid collection of Belgians. I'd like to try some of Tripelhorn's samplings in those styles... but I'm not likely to get to Washington any time soon.

Surprising amber color, nice foam, and then I hold it up to the light after a couple of gulps. Aack! Floaties! Sorry, but that gives me the creeps in what is supposed to be a light and fresh beer. Flavor, though, it quite pleasant if you close your eyes. Rather malty, mellow, a little sweet. I have never called a Blonde Ale "rich" before, but it is. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at Malt & Vine in Redmond.
