Definitely a sipper. An off-odor pervades the nose, and unfortunately infects the taste as well, to a certain. Otherwise, it's pretty light, with a definite sour-cherry set of flavors: tartness, a little pith-bitter, some woodiness, all suffused with robust sour-apple-barnyard-leather qualities. It's also quite turbid, with fat chunks of beige sediment and striated layers of color: pale orange at the fringes, then transitioning to red-orange to a incarnadine mahogany heart. I was optimistic, but maybe this bottle had weathered too much, as it was somewhat disappointing and definitely somehow off.
