Mayfly pours a goldenish color with a good size head. There is a very pronounced hoppy and floral aroma. The taste has a bold hop flavor, with a harsh malt bite, with notes of warm from the alcohol. Good feel, good strong flavors, and very drinkable too. Overall its a very nice barley wine, very easy to drink, bold, but not as strong alcohol or fruit flavors.
