A: Black body with a 1-finger tan head. Good lacing.
S: Piney and woodsy hop bitterness over some charcoal or ash.
T: Surprisingly fruity malt foundation is followed by molasses, a touch of hazelnuts and then a modest woodsy bitterness.
M: No carbonation makes it feel flat. Body is a bit thin; call it lighter side of medium in heft.
O: First time in awhile that I haven't been impressed by a Sloop beer. This one is just OK.

Dark in color, almost. Lack but not quite. Tan colored head. Earthy hop aroma mixed with mild roasted malt. Taste is fairly dry okay flavors not as well integrated as some other black IPAs. Thin to medium bodied
