Blood Orange Crush is a Berliner Weisse style ale, fermented with blood orange juice and hopped with citra. Not overly sour, this beer is refreshingly tart, and at 5% abv it’s definitely crushable for the coming hot summer months. You get orange rinds and citrus aroma with a tangerine/juicy/pith flavor!

Hazy cloudy orange color, no head. Sour, orange citrus aroma. Taste is tart, but not overpowering. Thin body. Good hot weather summer beer.

Pours hazy orange-amber, with off-white head.
Aroma is lactic sourness, with a touch of malt/fruit/floral/grass.
Flavor is jammy tangerine, grapefruit, grapefruit pith, and the barest hint of pineapple, with a tiny bit of pleasant bitterness on the finish.
Feel is light-oily. On the finish there is pleasant, very fine , lightly prickly carbonation, on the tip of the tongue.
Overall, another fantastic brew from Sloop!
