Up From Downstate is a Tart IPA brewed in collaboration with our friends from Sand City Brewery in Northport, Long Island. This IPA lands on the palate with a delicate tartness that is reminiscent of citrus pith and pineapple core. The faint, residual hop profile at the end takes it from beer to straight up juice. Go outside, crack open a can, and let the Spring do its thing.

Pours fully hazed, yellow squash soup in color, lasting off white cap, goes to a frothy film, low sheeting and ringed stick.
Lemon/lime/grapefruit nose.
More biting lime and fresh grapefruit shining brightly. The tart/tang here is moderate and fueled by the grapefruit presence. Really delicious stuff....fresh, flavorful, complex and highly worthy....more great brew from Sloop and their high quality collaborators here, Sand City
