This was pretty good. Nice tropical fruit notes, little to no bitterness in the flavor. I was enjoying it until my wife remarked that it smelled like poopy diapers. Then of course it smelled like poopy diapers to me too. Damn her!

Tastes much bigger and brighter than its 6.5% ABV, this is a contender for AIPA crowns.
a) Luscious head and lace, over NE clouded yellow body.
s) the other fruits (berries, guava, pear) temper the grapefruit (good), abundant.
t) follows the aromas, adding complexity and dankness.
f) Creamy, bright, clean, crisp, silky, smooth, juicy at mid-weight.
o) Original and big.

A- Tallboy into a tulip glass with a murky, floury golden peach body and a massive cap. The head is very thick with a creamy texture and great retention peaking at an inch high. Tons of thick lacing blankets.

S- Juicy lupulin. Sweet and fruity aroma coming off as a nectar of mango, peach, papaya, grapefruit, tangerine and apricot. On the softer side with tons of tropical and stone fruit hops. Some dankness later one as well.

T- Stone fruits and tropical galore with a decently high bitterness coming into play accentuating the zesty grapefruit that was somewhat secondary in the aroma. Mango, apricot, tangerine, orange, papaya, powdery acrid bitterness, bubble gum, melon and dank herbs. Somewhat floral too. The sweetness is at a medium level and there is just a hint of grains.

MF- Medium bodied with a very high level of carbonation and a fluffy texture. Really puffs up a lot and it finishes with an intense hop bitterness.

The aroma is really nice and soft with tons of tropical and stone fruit notes but some powdery acrid bitterness comes out in the flavor making it a bit less smooth than it could be.

Pours a very nice looking pale hazy yellow with a white head on top. There is a nice sticky lacing. The smell of pungent Nelson hops fill the air. The taste has even more Nelson hop flavors going on. The feel is light bodied, smooth and refreshing. Overall it’s a very good beer even though I’m not a huge fan of the hop profile they’re using.

Enjoyed on draft at the source, and now from a tall can...dated 1/17/19..(yesterday)

Standard NEIPA looking pour, supports a lasting off white frothy cap and leaves ample fine bubble sheeting all over the glass.

Juiced up nose with lime and pineapple coming forward.

Fresh, fruity, juicy, with notes of biting lime, again pineapple and grapefruit. Creamy and super smooth. Delicious stuff... more tasty and worthy brew from SBC.
