L: Hazy, light golden color
S: Isn’t anything special. The taste is much better
T: beautiful blend of flavor. Mixture of melon, citrus and other accents. The Citra, Motueka & Rakau hops add an interesting combination I haven't experienced before. Lower bitterness typical of NEIPA blends well with the aforementioned flavors.
F: medium on the lips because of the unfiltered component. Feels lighter and thinner afterwards on the way down
O: An interesting well blended NEIPA. Happy to have tried it!

This is quite an unusual IPA, worth drinking for the taste and aroma.
Rakau, Monteuka and Citra hops.
Light grapefruit color, 4F head. Unusual fruit aroma- melons and other fruits I can’t quite identify. Bery floral.
The taste is more pronounced, and broadens with warming.
A moderate hoppy finish.
Quite different. Very NZ in the flavor profile.

16 oz can into IPA glass.
Look is nice hazy yellow. Smell is tropical citrus. Taste follows nose with citrus up front and a little grapefruit bite at end. Feel is light to medium. Overall a very good NE IPA, not great but very good. Would drink again.

As the user who added this beer and is providing the first review . . . here's what it says on the can:
"Brewed w/malted wheat & flaked wheat//Citra, Motueka & Rakau hops."
A: Poured from the can into a tulip glass. Body is hazy, juicy golden-yellow with a 1-finger nice, bright-white head on top.
S: Good nose of modest citrus (lemon peel, grapefruit) and tropical fruit (mango, pineapple).
T: A little bit of a letdown here - modest sweetness up front (ripe melon, maybe under-ripe stone fruit) is followed by a touch of tropical fruit (pineapple), some white grape skins, and a bitter lemony & minerally finish.
M: Very creamy in feel - more so than your standard "juicy" NEIPA. Nice overall pillowy feel to it, thought at times it seems a bit thin. Still, since I like that creaminess, I'll go with a 4.25 on feel.
O: Good stuff. Not familiar with Rakau hops - I suspect they're responsible for this being a bit more bitter than your average Sloop NEIPA. I'd buy it again.
