Brewed w/ 2-row, flaked oats & flaked wheat to form the base wort, & dry-hopped w/ Sabro & Motueka hops, creating aromas of dragonfruit and sunny orange peel. These hop varietels come together to offer big flavors of tart lime custard, coconut flakes, and an unexpected shortbread cookies finish.

Poured into a 16 oz Snulip glass canned on 9/4/2020. Pours a hazy yellow orange with a 2 finger sticky white head, that leaves a finger sticky white head, with thin webs of lace and excellent retention. 4.5

Smell coconut, pineapple, hints of garlic, passionfruit, and apricot. 4.25

Taste follows coconut, pineapple, passionfruit, again a little garlic, and apricot really well balanced. 4.25

Mouthfeel is bigger than medium, not dry or sticky, soft gentle carbonation, and at 6.18% it drinks more like 7% but really easy going down. 4.75

Overall this is a very tasty and memorable NEIPA from Sloop. Cheers all. 4.25

Canning date 09-04-20. Freshyfresh! At +/- 20 miles from Sloop I hope they didn't waste the gas and send this from NH.
Kudos to Sloop and Smuttynose on the partnership!
Hefty oat n wheat haze to this one - lemon pudding like - opaque but it truly is a liquid despite appearances with a bright white tight head of fine bubble foam while specks and smears of sugar lace stick to the goblet walls.
Aroma is crisp and refreshing, mild grapefruit, lemon and watermelon - or maybe just melon melon, certainly not cantaloupe.... not mango .... could be papaya but I don't know what papaya smells like unless it's right under my nose.... You'll smell some fruit and wonder where your beer went.
Interesting flavors of more fruit infused with sharp, semi sour hop bitterness without a counterpart of malt depth or complexity. It seems highly attenuated and it's remarkable how the adjunct grains seem to take the place of un-fermented malt sugars and add mouthfeel and texture but no weight or fullness.
Wheat character comes through along side the unique flavors from the late boil hops and the oat fluff carries them over the palate in lieu of any malt sweetness or tongue tangible body.
Great peppery hop finish and slightly sour, lingering aftertaste.

It's nice to see a hazy/NE IPA that goes well below 7% ABV. That allows this beer (somewhat exceptional given the choices in my area) to deliver that good, attractive and muted hoppy flavor without making one feel too heavy or too groggy after a single can.

Pours a bright hazy yellow with big, rocky head. Aroma of tangerines is detectable from a foot away. Tangerine, oranges follow through in the taste with a bit of lime like bitterness. Creamy mouthfeel is quite pleasant. This is a nice offering from Sloop and well crafted.

A: Poured from the can into a tulip glass. Body is very hazy/juicy straw-yellowish/khaki with a wisp of whitish head on top.

S: Nose is pretty strong - grassy, green hops and tropical fruit. Limes.

T: Juicy tropical fruity hops with a bit of grassy, piney hops as well. Bite of under-ripe pineapple. White grape skins. Can says it's got Motueka and Sabro hops; I don't know the Sabro hop at all, but something in this beer's profile reminds me of Nelson Sauvin hops, which isn't my favorite.

M: Medium in heft, juicy with a touch of creaminess in the feel.

O: Another good offering from Sloop; this hop profile isn't my favorite, but the beer seems to be well done.

Poured from a 16oz can with an illegible date ending in "20" to a Nonic.
Body is creamy hazy with a medium head of bright white.
Nose is restrained tropical. Pretty mild actually.
Taste is pleasant tangerine, peach with a mild hop bite. Again subtle, not sure if my olfactory is great today.
Carbonation is prominent with each sip, mouthfeel is medium.
No sense of alcohol. I would like to comment that I have never noticed a 2-place decimal written on a can/bottle before, it states 6.18. That's 6.2 in my book.
Overall, okay. I may re-visit my review when my nose clears up.
