Richard Simmons, eat your heart out...Disco Blastoff's got twice the amount of hops. Huge notes of orange juice, grapefruit zest, candied peach and cotton candy come together with a smooth finish thanks to some lactose and malted oats. Get a little wiff, take a little sip...get down tonight.

A thanks to the mighty woodychandler for this beer. Poured from a 16 oz. can. Has a hazy, bright yellow color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of tropical fruits, citrus. Taste is juicy, grapefruit, pineapple, light mango, mild bitterness. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a solid beer.

A: Poured from the can into a tulip glass. Body is pale yellow with a little bit of white head on top.
S: Faint pineapple, some apricot. Not too strong, but what's there is pleasant.
T: Juicy pineapple-orange juice. Good hop bitterness - grapefruit pith, limes and lemon come to mind, with bitterness lingering after each sip.
M: Juicy but smooth, nice feel to it. Medium in body.
O: This one grew on me - I like the bitterness here.

A: The beer is very hazy light yellow in color. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that left a patch of bubbles on the surface, a narrow collar around the edge, and some lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of gooseberries and lime are present in the nose along with hints of orange citrus.
T: The taste follows the smell and and has lots of flavors of lime citrus along with hints of oranges. Little to no bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels medium-bodied and juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: The smell and taste of this New England IPA are both very bright and juicy.

Poured into a 16 oz Nordic pint glass canned on 8/29/2020. Pours a hazy yellow with a finger sticky white head that leaves big thick webs of lace with solid retention. 4.25
Smell is mandarin, passionfruit, marijuana, pineapple, and apricot. 4.25
Taste follows mandarin, passionfruit, pineapple, marijuana, and apricot maybe a little garlic. 4.25
Mouthfeel is a solid medium, not sticky or dry, soft carbonation, and at 6% drinks bigger but extremely approachable. 4.5
Overall another winner from Sloop, they brew 6-6.5% NEIPAs so incredibly well. Really dig this one. 4.25

Can from Whole Foods on the UES. Pours opaque light with a finger of fluffy white head, smell is peppery dank weed with hints of tropical fruit and citrus, taste follows with peppery dank weed, pineapple and guava, hints of musty strawberry and mango, feel is medium bodied with nice dry carbonation. Not since Bunker’s Cypher and EBF 2020s hemp beer have I had such a weed forward beer and it is delightful. Yurm.

16 ouncer...8/31/20 stamped on the bottom of the can.
Pours all hazed up and NEIPA like...supports a large and lasting frothy cap, and leaves moderate bars, spots and small webs of the stick all over the glass. Nice looking brew.
Fruit forward sniff, with limes, melon and pineapple coming to mind.
Fresh and flavorful with ripe pineapple glowing up front, mingling with some mango, kiwi, and lime....delicious offering...smooth and complex...lush, bold and wonderful....fine stuff from the brewers of Sloop...go get some
