Warm up with Bomb The Mountain -- the perfect post-run crusher after a long day at the slopes. Flaked oats & flaked wheat give this hazy IPA a soft & snowy mouthfeel, complemented w/ a sub-zero blend of frozen Citra cryo & German Amarillo hops.

From the pint can, it pours a milky amber color with a nice thick white head that slowly reduces. The nose gets some citrus, followed by the mouth getting a citrusy bite with malt after. Amazingly, it feels a bit watery.

Pretty Good NEIPA. Poured from a 16 oz can into a pint glass, this beer features a small foamy white head with good retention, bands of foamy lacing and the usual NEIPA hazy straw yellow color. Aroma and taste include pineapple and other tropical fruit as well as some grapefruit and lime. Tastes good, pretty much standard NEIPA. Mouthfeel is crisp and slightly bitter. No annoying alcohol presence. This one doesn't really stand out among NEIPAs but it is solid and I would have no hesitation ordering one in a restaurant.

Pours a hazy gold. Thick foam. Citrus aroma. Tropical fruit body. Silky smooth. Light malt finish. Good flavor. A solid winter IPA.

Tall can w/o canning date info that I can find.
Typical Sloop quality NEIPA hazed up pour.
Fragrant sniff, with mango, lime and melon coming to mind.
Super smooth and tasty as it flows through the mouth.
Again mango, lime, melon, as well as over ripe pineapple notes coming to mind. Fresh, fruity and pretty much delicious....go get some and enjoy.

A: Poured from the can into a tulip glass. Body is hazy beige-yellow with a bit of a white head on top.
S: Pineapple and some citrus (grapefruit, lemon, lime).
T: Good fruity combo of sweet (ripe peaches, oranges) and modest bitterness (pineapple, grapefruit pith, some pine).
M: Juicy in feel, about medium in weight/heft.
O: Good. Another solid NEIPA from Sloop.

The oats in this beer made it very creamy almost like a milkshake IPA and it caught me off guard. Smooth body fruity hop flavor easy to crush. Definitely a great beer especially for a couple of bucks for the pounder!

Palate Contaminants: other beer
Stop me if you've heard this one before: opaque yellow-orange with lots of very fine white head. Lots of really good lacing, though.
Mild white grapefruit is on the nose, but there's way more pine. Needles, specifically. That basically overpowers everything else.
I was preparing to be hammered by a forest, but the taste is well balanced, if still tilted toward a northern boreal theme. Sweetness is light, and bitterness is light, but there's a fairly strong sap element. Minor white grapefruit. A lactic thing comes on late, and it has some light nuts, so there's a fatty/oily thing going on with the flavors. Probably would go well with a burger with smoky toppings, but I'm not in the mood to run 15 minutes to my local burger joint to find out.
The weight is a bit thin, but the forest aftertaste is pleasant, as pine nuts stand out a bit more. It fizzed out on me when I opened it, so it's hard to say anything about the carbonation.

A: The beer is very hazy pale yellow in color. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that left a narrow collar around the edge and lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of lime citrus and lychee are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell, except that there are also flavors of orange citrus. There is a slight amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied and juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is very easy to drink. I could definitely see this being a refreshing beverage after a day skiing on the slopes.
