slightly hazy light gold color with great head retention. just from the smell you get tropical citrus notes of mango, pineapple, and orange. as a fan of the original juice bomb, citra + galaxy bomb is a great spin off: simplified in its hop profile, yet more sophisticated in taste. the dominating citra makes it an easy going sip, low IBU, but to enjoy this beer requires an affinity for citra hops, a variety which on its own can have a pretty mild flavor. the blend with the galaxy hops adds just the perfect bit of punch this beer needs. I will be drinking this all summer.
