Pours the color and consistency of orange juice. The nose is citrusy with oranges and grapefruits as the outstanding notes. The flavor is citrusy as well but there are also notes over overripprned fruit. The alcohol on the finish is rather harsh considering that this offering only clocks in at 8%.

A: Poured from the can into a Tree House tulip. Body is hazy dark orange with a wisp of whitish head on top.

S: Definitely oranges - orange zest and peel, over some sweet malt.

T: Think Orange Julius - the kind you get at the Mall, not the kind you get from Tree House. Oranges, orange peel and some slightly-more-bitter citrus, maybe grapefruit or lemon zest. Also getting a touch of brown sugar. Finishes sweet, but not in a cloying or annoying way. Heat from the ABV is noted in the belly, but not on the palate at all.

M: A little bit watery for an 8% DIPA, but I think that actually improves this beer, as it makes it easier to drink - perhaps dangerously so.

O: I like what they've done here. Didn't like their "West Coast" take on Juice Bomb so much, but this is a nice modification.

Look... OJ look with a little more golden and an off white frothy head.
Smell...light hop citrus and some juice, a honeydew melon with the hint of grapefruit
Taste...Orange zest and bitter up front and continued bitter with a nice balance in the middle. A nice added zest that works in collusion with freshness. A beer def recommended fresh with even zest additives.
Feel...A slick almost juice feel. A resounding fullness is added by the passing of a little time.. a little bit of lacing with moderate carbonation
Overall...this is a really tasty beer. I wish it had a date on it especially with having a zest additive. I believe that this with one week on it would be exceptional even as much as three weeks...but 3 or 4 months on this one and i believe would be significant. No date kind of pisses me off. Sloop Brewing needs to figure it out with the can dating thing.
