The "Bomb Series" requires more investigation...this deep golden IPA has a tropically fruity nose, a modest head with lace that hugs the glass for days. Really nice sustained flavor profile--pineapple, orange rind, and mango. Delightful beer. I clearly need to hit more bombs.

A: Poured from the can into a Tree House tulip. The body is hazy dark golden with a near-2-finger head of white foam that really lingers.
S: Very nice nose. Sweeter tropical fruit (ripe melon, mango) and citrus (oranges).
T: Follows the nose, with ripe melon, mango, oranges and pineapple. Finishes with a metallic or minerally bite and a touch of raw hops lingering on the aftertaste. After a few sips and the palate adjusts, that mineral taste fades.
M: A bit thin/watery, which is surprising given the lasting foam and hazy appearance (not to mention the strong juicy scent). I think that thinness in feel/bosy helps create the environment to sense that metallic/mineral-type taste at the finish of the sip.
O: Starts out strong but loses steam. . . . Still quite good, just not great.
