Jay Baum, brewer at crown city fancied up to some of us BA's on a pasadena crawl. decided to break out his first saison, which he produced in 1997. The appearance was a golden yellow-ish. cloudy with a small head. the aroma was fruity, sour grape, little apple jolly rancher. samll hop and clove. the taste was spicy, malty and sour fruit. light in body and very drinkable.
