This is the Red Headed Stranger aged in Red Wine Barrels over a year with spices added.
The feel and taste of this one is very clean but I'd say the wine does overpower the beer. Very red wine tannin forward and less funk than I expected. It does improve as it warms. That's where the funk shows itself but restrained. Not bad. Not bad at all. Wish this was a bit more tart but now we're getting picky. But really though. I wish this was a bit more tart and funky to hold up better to the wine. Yummy schtuff though. Again, much better as it warms. Solid.
