Dull golden appearance, below average head produces almost no lacing. Aroma was real fresh, didn't develop the brett character, but a little plum is noticeable.

Taste had too much spice rack, not enough dryness. Bitterness should be a little better subdued and restrained. Needed some tartness and dryness here. Was too standard.

A dull golden appearance, not much in the way of head on it, very thin, almost no lacing. They say the beer has italian plums and brettanomyces in it, but I only picked up on the plums in the aroma. Its a brand new brewery, so I imagine any bretty aspect is wishful thinking at this relative young age. So who knows, this one could still get its awesome on down the road. Nonetheless, the slightly bitter, tart and dark fruit, but not heavy input of the plums was pleasing.

Taste, since this was the beer I was most looking forward to, I guess I was just slightly underwhelmed. The coriander stood out a little much, whereas the mouthfeel had a bit much bitterness for the 20 claimed ibus. Didn't finish tart not dry really, thought it was a tad muddled, although it did grow on me as it warmed. Was hoping for the citrus to show up, but that didn't really happen for me either.

An interesting recipe, I'd visit again, but for being openly fermented, I'd expect more tartness. Maybe with time.
