From the 650 ml. bottle. Sampled months after it was released on August 9, 2015. All of their beers will be officially retired. This brewery announced on Aug 4, 2015 that they are closing down.
Muddy brown pour with a fluffy tan head.
Aroma: Butter and caramel that feels past its prime.
Medium body.
The malty character makes way for a bitterness that still has a mild kick at the end especially for an old bottle.

Bottle from Bert's
Pours a clear deep golden color with a huge frothy off white head that persists forever. Minerally caramel with hints of dark fruit and a touch of oxidation. The flavor is rich toffee and caramel with a hint of sulfur and yeasty flavors. Medium body moderate to high carbonation. Not horrible, but lacking when compared to English versions. Maybe I'm actually missing the diacetyl.
