22 ounce bottle into a snifter. Had 7/3/20.
Pours a dark ruby, somewhat opaque, with a quarter inch quickly dissipating head and some light specks of cling. Aromas of cherries, bourbon, vanilla, oak, some char, light smoke, light malt. The flavor is a little more bourbon forward, then vanilla, oak, char, malt, some cherries- more as it warms. Smooth, a very good medium body, appropriately carbonated.
This is surprisingly oaky and smoky. The vanilla is the star, and the cherries and barrels also show well. A really well done and interesting blend, very enjoyable.
